Spoke to John Fellet CEO Sky and he has said that they will show all games of the A League and will show as many live as possible including this Thursday night. Very sympathetic to the A League and football which is good news.

Fantastic stuff Tony.

Now we all have to make his (and others) efforts worth while and actually tune in to the games or at least record them if you have mysky so the viewing figures look good.

Tony, you beautiful man!  I could kiss you.  That's great news.  Remember chaps, if you're going out leave the TV on whatever channel's showing the footy in the hope of keeping the ratings as high as possible.

I just wrote a message to Sky TV thanking them and congratulating them on their good decision.  Chances are it'll just clog up their inbox but oh well, if I'm prepared to criticize I should give credit where due.

Top notch effort Tony, thanks for championing the cause.

Re the programming of our Mysky  I'm doing it right now for every game I can see on the Schedule.. Thursday.. there it is ..fantastic!

I'm going to email again to congratulate Sky on their decision too ...just as soon as I've opened a beer and toasted people power, or should that be...Yellow Fever Power.

Uefa sell its rights to each region seperatley.

Excellent news about Thursday night.  Saturday night's game between North Queensland and Sydney is also live, as is the Phoenix game on Sunday (obviously), so that's three live this weekend (more than they promised initially) so good stuff.

I understand the remaining two games (Adelaide v Perth on Friday and Brisbane v Gold Coast on Saturday) are screening on Tuesday at 9am and 3pm.  Better late than never I guess. Plus the A-League highlights show on Monday night.

Good work Steve-O (nae bad for a Hibee!).

It makes sense to sign this petition in order to keep the pressure on sky and to back up the campaigning done by Tony P.

Great work Tony.

You would think it would be smart business for Sky as well. With McGLinchley, Brockie, Moss, Smeltz, not to mention the curiosity of seeing Fowler, Culina, et al play it would make sense to cultivate access to the A-league. Definitely a growing market.

Plus in Korea I was happy to pay for internet coverage of all the A-league. I would consider getting Sky here for the same...but for the All Blacks and the 'Nix I'm happy to go out to the pub...

Terrific news. Shows what can happen when the football fanbase speaks up (with a little help from the best CEO in the league)

Anyone who wrote in should write in again thanking them for opening their eyes.

When I viewed it (I assume you're talking about the Nelson Mail article on Stuff) All four ads on the page were Sky TV ads lol!

Altho ecstatic that we now have better coverage, am I allowed to say I am disappointed that Friday and Satdy night games aren't being replayed until Tuesday? I'm not sure if better late than never is actually true.

Thanks very much Tony P - good work.  Looking forward to watching opening game. I do think that delayed coverage would be better in the middle of the night sooner (MySky makes this easy) rather than during the day some days later, but beggars can't be choosers probably.

NB Just signed petition, but am only number 19 to do so!

Sounds all good but I'm still a bit cynic. It might be a good hiss and a roar and then a couple of weeks later the programmes drop back to square one. If they able to show this well enough by mid-nov I may change my mind and if they able keep it going after the new year, then sure I would be totally convinced.

Anyways thanks again Tony P.
