.. thoiught I'd ask Sky what their intended coverage was going to
be of the Phoenix in the coming season and got this reply .....
Thank you for your email.
We are pleased to advise that we will screen games LIVE where possible. But if games clash with other LIVE sports which features New Zealanders then the A League will be delayed.
Hope you enjoy the season to come.
..... hopefully there's no clashes

I know its bullsh*t. They'll play sh*t like netball and hockey
before us. Sky are sh*t!

Can't say I have ever seen netball or hockey on sky... I
agree with the other guy, there must be a spare channel somewhere
to show the game...

Yes but i can't see them putting live games on a highlights
channel or on the American television channel.
Also there has been hockey on the last few days.

At least the intention is there to play games LIVE, but yes surely
they need to slot it in somewhere. With all the premier league,
Spanish, Italian and Dutch leagues they show, as well as champions
league and other highlights type shows, surely that justifies
having a futbol only channel.

Course they will have coverage - Sky have great A-League coverage.

Im not too worried about the A-league coverage. I will be at the home games and the away games are in aussie so the time diff will stop it from clashing too much.

I think you will find SKY's response was to general A-League
matches.
I can't remember them ever not carrying a televised Knights game so they'll show the Phoenix games live (there was one match in V1 against the Mariners that was never covered in Aus so it wasn't shown here).

I guarantee that if there is any chance at all that a rugby show
that could show anything from International to F*****G grassroots
will take the place of a Nix game because Sky are sh*t with finding
out what their "customers" want. I DON'T CARE ABOUT INDOOR BOWLS
WHEN YOU COULD BE SHOWING FOOTBALL ON A FRIDAY NIGHT!!

To be honest i dont think they would show grassroots over the
nix. although testmatch rugby is fair enough and even airnz cup.
More people across New Zealand are interested in rugby and their
sole aim is to make money. So if they show rugby they will be able
to get a higher advt. price and quite possibly more members.
