Smart Phoners - The Fever Tech Crew Needs You

We need some help with some new shiny stuff we're putting together. So, if you meet most/all of these criteria:

• You own an iPhone
• You have updated to iOS7 today (or plan to soon)
• You like new shiny stuff, but understand that the newest and shiniest is sometimes lacking polish
• You'd like to help out the tech crew

Following up to that, if you meet the following criteria, let me know below as well.

• You own an Android
• Your phone is running Android Gingerbread (2.3) or higher 
• You like new shiny stuff, but understand that the newest and shiniest is sometimes lacking polish
• You'd like to help out the tech crew

If you own a Samsung S3, I probably don't need your help. Let me know which phone you have and which Android phone you're running below if you want help out. 

What exactly is the plan here? I may be interested (im part of a support chain for a network of 10,000 iPhones and iPads)

Apparently it has Ice Cream Sandwich - whatever that is.

I'm probably of no help to you, but for the record I do like hokey pokey and goody gumdrops is a favourite in our house as well.

 I also have a Huawei phone that can be used for testing stuff, if you're interested.

Have a HTC One V and an old Galaxy S kicking around for testing if needs be.

I've got a Huawei running ice cream sandwich (4.0.4) at the moment, I may and can upgrade if you want to test another version.

Should probably have an app that works with those sponsor phones ay.

Is a YellowFever app on the way? Would be way cool but wouldn't it be easier/more effective to establish a mobile version of the site? That way windows phone users wouldn't be left out.

I find a mobile site with a desktop shortcut is often better than an app, for instance the stuff.co.nz mobile stuff is far better than the stuff app imo.

Running custom firmware which is using android 4.3 on my Galaxy S2 and I don't mind helping out.

Brilliant.  You have the long distance call model.

I've been told that they aren't as good as the local call models.  Apparently the sound quality is a bit tinny.
