I have on very good authority Smeltz is off to the Gold
Coast Galaxy next season if they get there way.
Although Smeltz is signed with Phoenix in 08/09 - the Galaxy
are working above and beyond to get the Strikers signature.
He is a Gold Coast boy and they want him back.
