Just heard on radio that the Chile Football Federation wants to enter into some sort of "special relationship" with New Zealand Football. (The Australians have just done the same with Italy.)
Hope Tony P follows this up. If Chile wasn't on his last South American scouting tour, this could be a good time to see if they have some hot young Chilean strikers who would benefit from a season or two with the Nix.

Going by my experience of Chile (about 3 hours at the Santiago airport), there's some outstanding talent there...the girl at the information desk for example.

several good chilean players actually.
played against them in the Chatam cup and they are absolutely quality. One of the (Pedro?) even played for Waitakere. And if I'm not wrong, the week after I played him in Chatham cup I saw him in the Nix vs Wellinton XI game...
