I thought I'd put in a plug for one of the Nix sponsors Wellington Beds.Just been down there with the missus to update the workbench and I mentioned being a Phoenix season ticket holder and the guy said he's had a few other supporters in recently, but not many during the season. Obviously we are all too busy during the season posting, drinking, watching, playing. There's a big sale on at the moment down there, up to 35% discount on some things, service is great, the business is a local one and they were one of the first sponsors on board the Nix.

C'mn Sarah, harden up. If you're gonna be a midwife you're in for a lot worse than that!!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

No worries. I've worked in Hospitals for 25 years and I was also there when both my kids were born (1st one was at Hutt) so get them posted. Could be a decent thread. The "Who wants to park their breakfast" thread!

You be working at Hutt? I worked there from 1999 till 2006, really enjoyed it. Had a lot of dealings with the Maternity Dept (ooh-err). Have fun!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Beds, babies, midwives, Hospitals. There's a pattern there!

Apologies from me as well, it's most unlike me to hijack a thread and take it off topic.........

It started to deteriorate shortly after my original post but that's OK I probably set the tone there anyway.

But look, everyone is reading the thread and Wellington Beds are getting heaps of free and good publicity, not one complaint about them. Obviously they sell a quality product. NO, I don't work for them nor have any association with them.

Once you ring them up you must invite them for a drink at the establishment.

Then when it gets serious maybe a boat cruise. Perhaps on the interislander?

I took the BlueBridge across the Cook Strait to buy a new bed from Sleepyhead but it sank so I got one at Welligton Beds. I tried to take some pics on my Fuji camera but they won't show properly on my Philips PC monitor or Samsung TV at home. I'll have to get new Sony ones to replace the whole lot now.

Its no longer a problem.
