We need some $$ for banners and the like - so if you would like your company to sponsor a website that gets a heap of traffic (this one) - then drop us a note. We'll even add your logo to our homepage

I wouldn't sponsor you lot to walk my dog.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

good idea Feverish. You should get some interest easy.

How much do you think you would need and would the sponsor get their logo on the Banner as well?

Good Luck

i will try to start a vic uni club with my mate, we need 20 signatures to be a formal club and recieve funding (which i think is $1000) but at the heavy price of a season ticket i think it will be hard to convince 20 people to sign up so any one here keen at vic should think about joining the club ill be taking signatures in the 1st 2 weeks of next term

I'm studyin at Vic, so you've already got my signature!

I wouldn't bother mate. Any club involving WPFC_OR_DEATH!!!!! probably means wearing a trenchcoat, writing intense poetry and stalking women.

f**k you sizzla

this will be about footy only

if you want to write poetry go ahead be creative

stalking women is sick and not what im about bro

if you dont want to join thats cool but dont tell others not to join with ludacris comments in your last post

i think it will be good for us fans in yellow fever if i can get this club underway and get funding for banners we obviously need

I've just removed a line from your previous post, WPFC_OR_DEATH.

No point in opening up that can of worms.

Easy there tiger. Just making the point that you seem a little bit, shall we say, tense.

A point that still stands by the way.

hey the club is still a valid and i think good option for us to get funding, all i need is 20 people so far i have about 10 but lets try for 50-75 to show we mean buisiness, i think sizzla should join as no 1 member

remember we are all phoenix bros and in the same family we all follow the same troops etc

Thanks for the offer "bro" but I might do my own thing. I'm not sure I'm really into your miiltary style approach to this whole thing. Good luck with saving for the season ticket though, we're all right behind you (and I'd say I'm quite a long way behind you and kind of off to the side a bit. Pretty much nowhere near you actually but hey.... each to their own right?).

Get the Thistle Inn to cough up some cash, if they want to be the official yellow fever pub they should be offering you something in return for all that business. If they dont.. pm me, I know some people who would be more than willing to send a few bucks your way in return for Yellow Fevers patronage, and they actually care about Football

I'm with Ubergunner - the best place to start is to approach people who stand to make some money out of the YF faithfull and at this stage it's only the Thistle and Champs. And if they say no it does tell you a lot about their committment to the cause.

G'day Bruce, you may well find that Champs do already sponsor the Fever. Everyone who buys a tee shirt contributes to the cause.

Have you bought one yet ?????
You may well also find out that Champs have reccomended a number of inititiatives in ways of helping the Fever raise some cash for banners etc and to offer the membership value for money.

was there talk at the start of yellow fever about a giant phoenix jersey? that would be awesome-even put a yellow fever twist on it or something!?

Hi seagull
yeah - getting the Yellow Fever banner made - funded by t-shirt money and Champs sports (cheers lads). I think it is definety something we need to raise awareness.

The other thing we want to do is the giant shirt. Maybe this is something the shirt sponsor might want to get behind (whoever it is)? It will cost a fair bit - but will look kinda cool I think. Hopefully we will get there

care to elaborate on what you mean?

We are getting a yellow fever one 4m by 1m - vinyl, and computer graphic. Costs nearly a grand.

If we get a giant shirt Feverish can wear it to games on match days, take it off, and then we can pass it over the head of the fans.

If it is too expensive to get a shirt made up, we can pass his specially made 'Retro Ricky' around.

It will look like this........

This is in Wellington you realise. we are going to have to bolt it to the stadium roof or else a heap of yellow fever members are going to have an impromptu hangliding lesson over central wellington.

i mean get as much $$$$ from as many places as possible, a grand is heaps i assumed banners would be cheaper than that but oh well, your one can be thhe stylish one and others can make poorer quality ones

BTW i wasnt kidding when i said i know someone who wants to get behind Yellow Fever, if someone official wants to get in touch I'll liase. I work for someone who is keen on getting behind the phoenix, but has found official channels too expensive. So he see's the fans as the logical people to offer something too.

Too true about sponsorship packages with the Phoenix being f*****g expensive.
Unfortunately it seems they believe they have a premium product to go with a premium brand.

My take is they should realise what has gone on before and sweeten the deal to get as many sponsors on board as possible.
If the Phoenix are a success they can then have more clout. As a potential sponsor you want to get value for money and that will be purely results driven. If the team fails as it has done so before, crowds will dwindle and the media circus will be all over the Phoenix like a rash with the doom and gloom merchants to the fore.

Hey Feverish, have you spoken to Terrys cousin John at TBD Design about making the banner - he's involved in the Nix so am sure he'd be keen to help out YF fans where he can?

Im sure he would make it hes really loving this phoenix stuff and made awesome packages which hes gnna send out with the season tickets in these boxes which contain badges and all that. If u want we can contact him and try to get him to make us a banner and get a price. Maby get it cheap through him if we put TBD on it too. Feverish u want to email him or me?

I have spoken to him.

The YF banner is sorted Pavlos, but maybe there is another one he can help sort. One with the Phoenix logo would be good.
