Ok rather random indeed, but I want to know if this is just me or not.

After going to games at the stadium I come away with a headache, not too bad at first, but get home say an hour later and its quite bad to the point gotta pop a couple of the old nurofen. I don't think its the loudness in general as I go to plenty of concerts etc and can handle these fine but its always after I go to the stadium, I'm not generally prone to headaches either.

So does anyone else have this happen to them? I have a feeling it may have something to do with the acoustics of the stadium? Or am I just being a complete softc**k hahaha.

BTW! Alcohol induced headaches are not counted :) lol

Try sitting closer to the pitch. Leaning forward slightly whilst standing/ sitting for 90 mintues might be upsetting your neck (and casuing tension headaches). Just a guess. . .

Yes, it's called a football headache, directly proportional to the amount of yelling you do.  DOn't worry, they fade in time...

I find that drinking a half dozen beers and yelling at the top of my voice raises my blood pressure and leads to a throbbing pain in my head - I usually leave with a headache as well.

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

Same here... most matches.

Needs a couple of large waters and an hour or so before it's right.

You appear to be suffering from a common case of Football Withdrawal Syndrome.

You doing that gives me a sore head as well!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

I got one at the All Whites match, but I'm used to them (neck injury = daily headaches). Maybe it's because it's leading into summer, make sure you keep hydrated. Tui doesn't count :P

Try taking a Borrocca before you go to the game or as soon as possible after it.

It sounds like dehydration (honestly). Wear a hat and drink lots and lots of water, don't worry about the nurophen. Make sure you drink the water before you think you need it (like thinking the time is when the headaches start). Drinking booze would be no good as it tends to dehydrate you.

Just do what James Dean does and drink right through until Sunday night, that way your headache is delayed until work on Monday and you can pull a sicky
