Why combine McKain and Brown into one player? Just use McKain.

Cause if Ifill and Greenacre struggle to score i'd rather not just rely on Bertos to score with his groin

looks probable but I do think Brown is gonna be there. Ricki loves him, but at the same time, its a real question as to where he would fit in if Ricki is wanting to play 2 up front.

I agree with Valeo too, atleast Brown has popped up to score goals previously.

I think that Hearfield could have a brilliant season this year. Wouldn't mind him on my starting line up

i hate a midfield diamond, if u want the best out of your wideplayers you need to play 2 straight CMs, otherwise  it all gets too narrow

I dunno. I don't think the likes of Bertos are very narrow minded. So Brown and McKain two straight CM's?? There's no flair there or creativity and McKain is definitely best placed in front of the Defence. Don't think he would be too effective up higher on the field.

Easy, McKain drops to form a diamond on defence, and comes more in line with the other CM on attack to provide width.
You know we belong together...

i know what your saying but mckain doesnt have to sit right back on the centre backs to act as a defensive screen. he can still be the spoiler but play alongside the other centre mid. my point is if he sits right back and someone like diego plays behind the strikers then there is a massive gulf in the middle that the wide players will get drawn into and become less effective. i see bertos and hearfield as wingers not attacking mids so they have to stay wide.

I get that too. So I think Oska's idea is good. I also see this void in the middle, but many teams around the world do play this type of attack effectively. The DM, McKain, just has to do a sh*t load more running than what a CB would, so to stay as a shield, but also up outside the edge of the box when the crosses are coming in.

He doesn't have to sit right in front of the Defense either, just more defensive mided than the other midfielder
