What should the Nix be planning up front this year besides Smeltz?

• Joel Porter, definitely first choice.

But if he doesn't come, should we:

• split things between Coveny/Costa/Draper, possibly having one start and another sub on,
  
• or look for another striker,
  
• or play with only Smeltz up front?

I like the idea of us developing our youth.
Smeltz seemed to possibly prefer having a striker partner.
Coveny may be too old, will have to wait and see on that one.

And what about our triallists, Roy Krishna and Jerry Karpeh?

Can anyone rank these other strikers?

I heard a rumour that Dennis Imbrahim is keen to return to NZ

Definitely need another striker if Porter doesn't come here. I'd prefer someone with a bit more experience than Krishna or Karpeh, but I guess it'll be the question of availability, ability and cost.

Riski has said Krishna isn't an option for this season.  Karpeh isn't coming on trial according to a reliable source.  Tony P has stated they have a plan B and a Plan C if Porter doesn't come off.

We'll see another forward arrive but anything else is specualation.
