I think as he's a foreigner we'd probably rather use those 4 spots
on some flair players like our new Brazilian! They have
instant appeal both on and off the field and I have no doubt will
help ticket sales. Hard to get excited about more ex-UK pros.

All this talk about signing brazilians and south americans. Just
because they are South American doesn't make them any good! That's
the mistake the Knights made; buying european players because
theyre european and not because they are something special. Stuart
Kelly is a good player and it wouldnt be a bad idea to give him a
trial. The only problem is he would take up a foreign spot.
If you're really determined to sign foreign strikers from the NZFC
surely it has to be Grant Young or Kieryn Jordan? They've
both got far better records...or Benjamin Totori for that matter.

kelly is a amazing, but yea fisher and barron shud come too!
Barron is a favourite of ricki's or aleast appears to be, he always
raves about him after games etc.
Not so sure on Fisher, he didn't exactly set the world on fire
at bodens, rather go for Jarrod Smith - younger.

I've seen plenty of Canty Utd games too and would have to agree
with the comment about not having Kelly in the Phoenix. Don't
really think he up to the A-League standard, remember we have to be
better than the Knights were, therefore NZFC is a long way off...
