Unfortunately due to some poor planning on my behalf, I'm actually in Auckland this weekend and will miss the Perth game.  So does anyone know of anywhere where I could watch the game from?

if you've got Sky, you can watch it in your house

I know some Auckland lads had success at one of the pubs in Vulcan Lane, not the Occidental, the other one who's name completely escapes me all of a sudden.

Is it The Belgian Beer Cafe?

Fox's Ale House on the viaduct will show the game on one of their screens if asked. I watched an away game there once and also a NZ U17 WC game whilst working in Auckland. The only thing is that on a Friday night, they won't play the commentary as they have music blaring out. Think of Fox's as a last resort then.

Why is it clubs/pubs insist on playing music so loud you can hear it 5 buildings away? Usually in small pokey rooms too. I'd rather be able to converse with whomever than having to shout.

Coyote Bar being a prime example. You have to sign language the bar maid to order your drinks. FFS turn the friggen volume down.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Maybe you're right but at least my hearing is better than a lot of those younger than me. Mind you, in my day we had live bands in pubs not DJ Snoopwooffy funkydickhead. or some such dorky name they give themselves, mixing precast CD's/MP3's

The Occidental and The Belgian Beer Cafe are the same place. There is an irish pub next door which HardNews might of been talking about, I can't think of any other places on Vulcan Lane that might show it...

Good luck trying to find a pub showing the game in the CBD, I've tried a couple of times and failed. Fox Ale House will probably show it, but the noise levels will be unbearably loud with awful music on a Friday night (and I'm used to loud music at clubs/bars..)...

There is a sports bar on the corner of Queen Street and Fort Street (not far from Vulcan Lane) called Right Track, which sometimes shows the A-League and without the awful noise levels you will get at Fox Ale House. I don't think there is any rugby or league on at this time of the year, so they might have it on the big screen... If you're in town today it might pay to pop in and ask if they will be showing it.

If you find anywhere good to watch it let me know so that in the future I will know where to go!

Queens Ferry... knew it would come to me.  About 20 years ago had a nice little upstairs bar called the 1872.

Thanks guys - you are superstars.  Probably will start at Vulcan Lane, and if not try Right Track.

Enjoy the game tonight.  It's the first home game I've missed this season so I'm gutted.  :(

There's a Black Caps match possibly, they might be showing that in a lot of places.

EDIT: Apologies, it's not a televised game...
