Due to the mentalness of this whole Taupo ride thing I've missed a lot of this season that should be amazing.

This is the first time I'm a bit screwed about what is going on

I need someone to sum up our season so far in a paragraph so when I never look at  bicycle again in about 6 days I can get back to talking shite on this forum.

Fever football experts you have a paragraph to sum up our season. Help me peoiple

Started out really positively with the win against Sydney and then the draw against Heart with a depleted side due to the AW's qualifiers. We were first on the table after round one and right up there after round two. The draw against Brisbane Roar was considered a good result, despite neither side wanting to attack in the second half at all. However, Roar's results since then indicate that we should have done a lot better than a draw. Then the Adelaide game was marred with controversey, with Siggy getting sent off when the player dived, and Adelaide scoring a goal that should have been called offside. Despite the 3-1 scoreline, there were plenty of positives to draw out of the game, especially the first half. We were shite against Victory, until the 65th minute when they pulled all their attacking players off. Brockie's two late goals made the scoreline far nicer to us than it should have been. The CCM game was a bit disappointing, mainly because it was the third loss in a row, but we managed to hold the Mariners to just one goal after they put seven past Sydney FC the week before. And then we turned it all around with the thrashing of Newcastle. A much better performance by all the players on the park, and Bertos in particular is finally looking like a decent right back.

Rd 1: Nix 2 - 0 Bling.  We were good, they were pants.

Rd 2: Heart 1 - 1 Nix.  Our youngsters and non AWs really pulled one out of the bag. Heart were down to 10 men which helped.

Rd 3: Nix 1 - 1 Roar. Very scrappy game, neither side was particularly good.

Rd 4: Ref+Linos+Red Cheats 3 - 1 Plucky Nix.  We deserved at least a draw. They cheated and the officials were morons.

Rd 5: Tards 3 - 2 Nix. Only game that we were totally outplayed. Brockie scored two good goals.

Rd 6: Nix 0 - 1 CCM. Unlucky result but CCM took their chances more than us. Ugly ugly game

Rd 7 Jests 0 - 3 Nix. Totori sets up two goals and throws away one.  Everyone dumps on him as a result. Ricki gives him a cuddle (that's why he's the coach).

for me adelaide was critical. 3 matches before that were above expectations overall - and those expectations were lofty

adelaide debacle cost us dearly

obviously the loss of points, but melbourne was a direct consequence of that, all the press nonsense was a distraction as well as the loss of siggy.

ccm a bit of an aberration for me, we played ok against a quality side high on confidence, we just didn't quite have it in the final third that day, and those are the ones you lose when you've had some hard luck and then the chips beat down in melbourne

we needed something to give us back some confidence after that, hopefully newcastle is that something

a draw or win at perth and we'll come home full of ourselves and ready to roll

Fortunate start to meet a team still finding its feet together led to a good result which was followed by a gutsy draw of debutants looking to impress gave the club a positive vibe. However, this was quickly squashed as the team reverted to old playing habits of direct football against possession based teams and couldn't muster up a plan b. Fortunately plan a, does still work against some teams, so back to mid table mediocrity, with fear that is where we'll stay... but hope lingers... that we'll try to get the ball down more as the season progresses.

but hope lingers - got me thinking about star wars - episode 7 to come out in 2014, AWESOME!!!

Rd 8: Perf 1 - 1 Plucky Us. Fair result, we had the better scoring chances but they dominated us for large patches (ooh err). Burns is still a twunt and AJ13 hates Pasty (sort of), but Doloras and 2B give him some goalie lovin' (Pasty, not AJ13). Movember was the real winner.

As a team we have lacked some cohesion and I put it down to the following.

1.  The  pre and post-match concourse walk. Our formations have always had time to make those 15 minutes to kick off count; e.g. “what time is it?” “15 minutes till kick off.” “right time enough for a pint and a piss”

2.  Give me a D! Since Mrs Chamberlin has been officially pardoned, our chant is no longer factually correct.

3.  Daniel has left on a Jet plane and there is no one who has officially replaced our 72’nd minute saviour.

So in summary: Hurry up and put some paint on the bencher, Give me a D! and “Ricky! Its Ricardo time”

Oh and Leo is our right back.

I think there's a collective lack of ambition amongst Yellow Fever actually.  I think everyone is really happy with their lot which I find a bit surprising

I had to do a psychometric test last week and according to results I do lack ambition, so that's me sorted.

Thanks gaffer,  I'd like to reward you with your faith in me, and can honestly say that as a midfielder I can offer the following:
1. Defensive capabilities of Jade North
2. Commitment of Leilei Gao
3. The finishing of Mirjan Pavlovic
4. The fitness level of Lucas Pantelis

I could however provide a supporting role as an assistant coach:
1. I can offer a barely passable Scotch brogue (my Geordie and Essex/Norf Lundun is better)
2. I can scowl on the sideline and shout at players.
3. I have several pairs of shoes and I'm not afraid to throw them at players if needs be.

This season has been like having a wank whilst staring at a picture of Helen Clark...

We all know its wrong and it will all end in a feeling of complete and utter shame but for some reason we still do it at least once!!!

OK then. Maybe we should just rename this season "Monica Lowinski"

A massive blow job that has left a stain on the Little Black Dress that is Total Football!!!
