Hi everyone - I'm a newb to this forum but not to following the
team. The match against the Victory on Sunday
was the most exciting game of any code I've seen
live for a long time!
I belong to the University Raiders football team (Div 7 in
Wellington). Its our 20th anniversary season (we still have a
couple of founding members still playing and the youngest player is
32) and we are planning a big end-of-season occasion based around
the Phoenix game against Adelaide on 22 Sep.
Its our tradition to dress in black tie and so far there are
15 of us planning to be at the game. We'll obviously have the black
in the Phoenix strip sorted but any suggestions on how best to show
our support in colours on the day?
And obviously we should get seats in the yellow fever section
and head to the BB before the game...
Are there discounts for blocks of tickets and supporters
scarves or the like? We aren't poor but we obviously want to
have enough money spare for refreshments

In terms of attire, Madhouse would suggest Yellow dishwashing
gloves
for discounts - get a fever card - there's a thread here
somewhere on how to do that
(from memory it only took an email to Hardnews - but my
memory's variavle -best you check)

Someone should tell the $2 shop to stock up on yellow dishwashing
gloves. I sense a demand surge!

Ha! Thanks, guys! I like the idea of the dishwashing
gloves! Would go well with yellow beanies and Retro
Rickies...
And I'll look into getting yellow fever cards for
everyone.
