good work lads - the B team outshone the A team. Did anyone else find that Hard News so far from the microphone that he couldn't be heard? Was it a belly/table issue?

Otherwise, excellent! Tommo seemed a bit grumpy. Love to hear more prior to the confederations cup, maybe after the first warm ups and the Italy game?
Mulligan is an interesting one. I think it is owrth noting though that he's played almost all of his senior football in the UK at right back, even though he turns out for the AWs in midfield. He did look good in that one game against Vanuatu. I think everyone was surprised at how poor he was last season, but I still hold out some hope for him, maybe a good pre-season may help. He's played at a good level, I can't believe that he's so bad that he can't get a game for us. One thing is for sure though, he could be all out of options on his pro career if his contract isn't renewes

If he shines in midfield during preseason we may not need a nother attacking mid, although he's still behind Muscat, Siggy, Durante, Lia, Plodder, Lochhead and possibly even McKain for the RB spot IMO

smithy, excellent debut, but good thing Thommo buried your suggested central league chit chat ("its boring"). we have our international market to think of.
competition for pod starting places will be fierce come the international feature edition in June/July. news will have to do some vocal strength work if he expects to have a look in.

No one should pay any attention to Thommo on these things - it is a well known fact that he is only keeping my seat warm until the NZ government sort out this time zone issue to get the NZ in sync with the UK.
