As someone wise (well not that wise, it was Feverish) said The Dom Post looked more like the Yellow Fever Gazette today.

How's my driving? - Whine here

i was surprised we got such a good spread in the dom post. normally you can barely find any football related news. i was glad they actknowledged the fans. i thought we did great

From the talk in town I've heard just today I reckon a mega-crowd is sure to be brewing. World domination could well be on!

took my brother and dad yesterday, my brother text me today and said he had the best day and can't wait to come back and my dad said he will only come again if he can sit in the yellow fever zone again

I agree.  In fact, since we as consumers/citizens of media essentially PRODUCE our own media, it goes to show how true that theory is!  As long as we keep loving the Phoenix without question, it seems that we can dictate media coverage.  World domination, perhaps not!  But domination of the Dom, yes.  In fact, they steal our ideas...how does "like a man possessed" (in reference to Cleberson) really get invented by some journalist? NO!! That's fever talk.  That's fever producing more fever.  Hmmmm...

Yeah, ALJ, same as Cosimo, I think your onto the key fact here, if we keep pumping it up the media will keep up with the new reality,

for mine, this site keeps us revved up and we can then spin that out to our workmates, friends family etc,

Let the Nixization of Aotearoa continue!!!

Is that why esteemed Football Journalist Keri Welham doesn't know her East Side from West side?

I think we ahould also take it up ourserlves to make sure that all our mates (football followers or not)and family come to the next match. I took my wife on Sunday and she hates football but she was singing her heart out and now wants a season pass.
Lets all get stuck in!!

Yup - I had a committed Rugby head at work tell me he really enjoyed the game and would likely be back for more...

Not just the talk of Welly. A couple of non-football mates of mine were wanting to chat about it Monday morning up here in Aucks too.

God how I wish the Knights had been as organised as the Phoenix.

Was that cos she was laughing at me most the match......same old Brutus, al-ways eating!!!

I brought along 5 newbies on Sun and they are all hooked.....two of them bought scarves yesterday and they are all coming back.  I'm bringing 3 more on the 9th and then my Dad and my sisters partner to the next home game.....spread the Fever!!!  Coxey2007-08-28 19:29:08

Good on ya Coxey, i done the same, it's great that we can all convert new fever fans, i believe at this rate and with a few great home wins we can fill the place. Why not, if we can make it a fortress then anything is possible!!!

Yeah thats always good. I mean i think it was the atmosphere that did it. Wellington hasent really had anything to embrace thats been this big for a while.

I think the lack of international cricket in wellington before christmas will help our cause no end. If people want an event to go to an event, the fact that they can experience a day like that every 2 weeks is awesome.

With the atmosphere at the first league game getting so many people pumped/converted, imagine the fanbase that could amass if we can get the whole stadium singing at the LA Galaxy match.
