Hey with our recent trend of picking up disgruntled players from other clubs, does that mean we can pick up God from NQF? We havent used our marquee yet have we?

but he's a whining bastard!

also our team would be similar to last season - the whole team set up around one strong player (smeltz).

we dont want that again

This is not an easy letter to write, but I think we need some time apart.  You know how I feel about you, it was love at first sight.  Something happens when we are together but when we are apart it's like you don't love me at all.  l love the way you look, love the way you move and I love to watch you.  Oh, how I love to watch :-).  But all my friends told me I couldn't trust you and they were right.

Every time you go away you cheat on me with our Aussie friends.  Some overrated, flash chancer comes along and you just lift your skirt, drop your pants and lie down.  And now it's happened twice in the last week.  Well, we can't go on like this.  So I am going away to Christchurch this wekend, alone, to try and make sense of it all and forget about you. Whatever you do, don't try to follow me.  It won't work.  I've succumbed to your promise of a wild weekend away in the past and you've let me down.

You always promise me it will be different next time but it never is and you just go back to your bad old ways.  Perhaps in a little while things will be different.  I can imagine a time, perhaps in August, when we are both at a loose end and you will flatter your eyelashes at me like you always do and I will come running once more.  But for now I hurt too much to contemplate that.

Farewell my love

Your devoted Dog, xx

I went to the game in melbourne last night whilst on holiday...we were completely awful. Poor marking of thompson and hernadez, no bertos to go to the flanks, midfield were too slow to react, generally just sh*t all round. We left after 80 minutes so missed the last goal. Good lord it was an awful experience...thank god for the tennis!

We'll make it, but only because of the joke 6 team system.

I currently have no huge confidence in us making it at all.  Adelaide have nothing to lose and could really cause us trouble.  Anything less than a win in Christchurch will be a disaster.  We'll have CCM and Brisbane breathing down our necks.  Fortunately one of those two is playing Sydney and should lose, unsure who the other is against.

This game, despite the score and what a few may've said, was far, far better than the game in Perth but still a miserable disappointment.

There is not a lot more to say.
A poor selection. Dadi was a joke. I know that Ifill is better playing up the middle. We need a good mid-field player that can create and not keep giving the ball away.
Caceras is one of our better players and has proved it-- on the bench again.

I did mention after the Perth game that we would struggle against pace.We only have one player with real pace?

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Leggy, yes. Was the same with a obvious must close down Hernandez. That went the same way. Poo

I hope we play better against Adelaide.  I've managed to get a heap of people to go, many of whom love to criticize football here (which usually equates to the Phoenix) - c**ts!  And if we play poorly I won't hear the end of it.  Bugger, it'll probably be my fault actually.

We got outnumbered in the middle of the park. Melbourne playing a 352 to our 343, basically 3 melbourne cm to our 2. Gave them plenty of time on the ball and allowed them to pick passes. Also made it hard for us to transition from defence to attack and they tried to compress play when we had possession on the flanks and made it hard for us to switch the point of attack. Just to much space between defence and our 3 attackers.

I'd rather have not scored than have one of our players hump the corner flag.

Yeah who leaves after 80?  That's sh*t.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Disgraceful

We should put an extra shirt on if we're behind after 80

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

At 4-0 it should have been shirts on, pants off
