Who is up here for New Years and wants to get together for the Newcastle match? Wouldn't mind a friendly bit of beach soccer on the day too if anyone's keen.

Awesome, I don't think we have any sports gear up here expect for my brothers weapons (he's a professional martial artist)

I think Mount Mellick was suggested in another thread, depends on where everyone is staying so we can try and be convenient.

In Tauranga Less tourists, less sulfur, and the chance to play beach football!

I'm heading down on the 2nd, though I might transfer to the 3rd. I schedule my life around sports events, I couldn't leave Wellington before TW vs Waitak, and I have to leave Tauranga before Phoenix vs Bling! Only thing I'm missing is a Firebirds match, but ah well.

The way NZ cricket is at the moment, you're not mising a lot. Today i see more bangldeshies at  Eden park than locals, they're making more noise than the locals and whats worse, the NZ team are getting hammered by a better team!

Can someone girant me a late Xmas Present and stick Sonny Shaws flags up his arse in two peices??

Where are we watching this? Maybe if i could grab contact details it would be easier to find you lot and/or the establishment in which we wish to view this match.

Three for me, and two for them.

Mount Mellick sounds good. Only worry is - Harry, will you be able to get  in? At 15yo, and I remember their bouncers being on the ball.

I should be able to get in with my dad.

I go to the Back Bencher before/after games with my mum and there is no problem there.

Lets hope so anyway.

Waiting for the final decision to be made tomorrow. Gonna be a budget trip if ever. Still a full tank of ga and some petrol vouchers I have should get me there and back in time for the 4th. Robb, if I come up, I'm leaving Rotovegas on the 3rd if you need a ride back.
