It's getting exciting as the days click closer to the Sydney game.
Players unavailible are: Cleberson (most likely), T. Brown, S. O'Dor, Barbourousas, Paston,Johnsen and Lia. So  players are likely to be unavailible:
Likely Lineup:

--------------------------------------Moss---------------------------------------------

Christie/Old------------------------Dodd----------------------------------Lochhead

--------------------------------------Aloisi----------------------------------------------

Ferrante---------------------------Felipe-----------------------------------Daniel

-------------George----------------Coveny--------------Smeltz------------------

It looks alot better for us this week and Bar the defence the team looks pretty close to full strength.
I'm tipping an upset.
Anyone brave enough to hang their balls on the line and agree?

I say bling by 2, but we will score this weekend. 3-1 or 4-2 the final score - To the money mob.

I'd happily eat my words though if we went out there and carved them up on a silver platter of exhuberant support from the fans in aisles 21 and 22!

All I want is for us to score at our end and the players to come over and celebrate in front of us...simple really!

I think we'll draw 1-1

I wonder who will be the first Phoenix ever to score? I hope its Covs.

Hopefully they will score at the end that we are.  We don't want a player having to run 100 yards to celebrate with us, and then go off knackered - it is only pre-season, remember.

I think the atmosphere of playing in front of a home crowd will give them a great boost and they'll pull of a surprise 2-1, with the winner coming in injury time after Moss makes an incredible save and they go end to end. The house will come down.

That or it'll be 1-0 after a Sydney own goal in the 4th minute.

Sydney will win it 40-1, with you getting a goal in the 91st minute while Sydney players have walked off to the pub.

God Hard News you seem to have slightly embellished the official team listings! I'm sure he's not listed as Plodder Christie officially! Who the hell is Randy Hickey?

The Bling injuries are fun too. I hope I don't get an ingrown toenail!

The ingrown toenail wasn't me, it's genuine and superb.

Randy Hickey:

The hair looks more like Randy these days though.

I met Terry McFlynn at Star City Casino and he seems a decent enough bloke, although it was quite an interesting night - as I also met Terry Butcher and Anthony LaPaglia - that night was a couple of days before the whole whoohaa  about LaPaglia trying to oust Butcher came out, that was the night after the game that the Tards had beaten Sydney 2-1 (Muscu*t 2 goals in the 2nd half) - the beginning of the end for Butcher.

Yeah, Butcher didn't have the world clarsh technical skills that Fozzie demanded.
