A few phoenix fans meeting at young and johnsons before the game but don't think there will be more than 20 or so, have read entry is through gate 7 only now and seating at the southern end of the ground - melbourne fans are going to love that i fear we will get the backlash

I take it my "enter any gate" ticket for the "opposition area" is now "enter by Gate X or don't enter at all". All fun - see you all at Y&J's with my massive hangover 

We can only enter/exit via Gate 7 (there's a quarter page ad explaining it all on page 2 I think of the sports pull -out in todays The Age).

Gate 7 Southern End will be exclusively for away supporters, there will be 5 bays cordoned off for visiting supporters.

The police will be escorting the phoenix fans from Y&J to the stadium. I've invited the Melbourne guys that were over for Game 1 to come and join us for a drink at Y&J and show that not every football fan on the planet is a coin chucking hool!

I'm not sure what the post match process will be - but I'm expecting a call from Melbourne Victory at some point today - I'm probably heading to Y&Js at around 1pm - if you need to get in touch, PM Hard_News - he has my Aussie mobile number.

As far as I know its Feverish....and he and I are the only ones signed up traveling from Welli.  There are others coming (Smithy I think) but they are meeting us in Melb to coincide with their holiday plans.  You coming Santy?

I caught the train home and was not murdered by any roving gangs of 13-year-old hoolies After being held in the ground all that time after the match I got to the station just in time for..... the football special train. Lovely stuff.

The best bit was when the cop, driving an overloaded vehicle, veered onto the tram tracks and drove along chatting on his mobile! "Are we a tram in disguise?"

Corkster I think must be in the lead for most attendances - all homes incl pre-season - plus away trips to Sydney & Melbourne!!
