Terry and his money (aka gone...or not..)

I mean this is just fantastic:

"Ryan alleges he was held in a headlock by Alliki while Terry punched him."  Terry will do what he always do, find another bottom of the barrel lender to refinance and kick the can down the road.

It's kind of amazing that he still keeps finding people who will lend him significant sums given his history, is he really that much of a sweet talker or is there something more to it?

$$.  The reality is there is a huge amount of money to be made as a lender of last resort - it's a high risk, high reward business.  It's not uncommon for those types of lenders to have a 30% + IRR (internal rate of return).  Lots of these types of projects do stack up, it's just that the banks and other lenders get tired of the delays or it's outside their risk profile. Half of developers in this space will have been bankrupt so Terry isn't an outlier here. He's actually got a history of successful deals, which is unlike a lot of other developers...

Con artists who are good enough to con people like this always end up conning themselves in the end. Hence Terry being sure that WGA was going to come through.

Yep hence my comment that there won't be a lot of people feeling sorry for either him or his mother.  Terry is a crook pure and simple
