What a poor, poor ending to the season.  Another disjointed  performance has now become the norm.  Amateurish, uninventive and sloppy.  Let's hope for some fresh blood especially in Central defence, Midfield and another Striker.
Let's hope for a change in playing style also with the emphasis on going forward.
There are too many players in the present team who do think they are better than they actually are.  Apart from Ugargovic I will be glad to see the others leave and hopefully more prima Donna's will follow them out the door.
It's a disgrace to call the recent performances "Football".
At the end of the day Ulay, you really achieved very little.

I’m actually pleased to see the back of flappy sail.

Along with being a flappy goalkeeper, this season I’ve started to really take a dislike to how he conducts himself on the field.

It feels like he has a few screws loose.

If we truely are following the no cocks policy - he won’t be missed

Sail was one of our best last night and I’m prepared to forgive him losing patience in public, now the season is over. We were garbage and it needed something constructive. But as hard as it was to watch it must’ve been harder to play through.

It wasn’t ideal timing, but what makes what he said about Rudan harder to take was its truth- the WSW team were better prepared and motivated than us.

Hope he really settles at Perth, but doesn’t see out the contract and gets a good move. This last year he’s been good, but when he debuted I thought, and I believe a lot of others did too, that he could be a great keeper. His determination and concentration were top notch and he has a set of long levers and can pass reasonably well. He was calm playing from the back when we did last night. Using the word ‘flappy’ is a joke.

Anyway this seems like a slag off thread, which isn’t part of forum rules, plus there are already threads to discuss players and the season…unless we want to change the title?

The title is thank god it’s over

My remark was I’m pleased that flappy sail is leaving. So thank god it is over.

Next year I’ll post it on the kiwi overseas thread. Until then I’m leaving it on here

He has turned into an absolute cock this year and should never have seen the captains armband.

I don't get it.  I wanted the season to go for more 2 more weeks, ideally 3.  I'm not glad it's over.

Poor season given it was our most expensive squad ever.

Had Talay been in Europe, that run in would have put him close to the sack.

Maybe time to move Ball and Wootton on.

Fingers crossed for something better next season.

Let’s hose some of the angst off and remember the good bits- every damn goal we slammed home:

Seemed like we had three distinct phases of goal scoring. Did anyone do that tactical break down they were planning on?

To an amateur like me- first phase everything went to or through Kraev. Next phase everything went wide to Elliot/Mauragis or through Laws/Payne to Zawada in the air. Third phase everything went through Sasse.

This was NOT a slag off thread, just simply pointing out the obvious.  If  I pay money to go and watch the Nix then I want to watch better performances, otherwise I can watch the effort of kids football for free, and, more exciting.
