Guys, Keane was playing with words Newcastle or New Zealand - both begin with New. Brockie isn't good enough to play conference football at present.

Bah, too much speculatino on this thread, it's like the bloody tabliods here sometimes.

1. Keane was being a funny boy mentioning NZ in his comment
2. Brockie aint signing in the EPL
3. If some other kiwi is on trial that's no big deal. Plenty of Kiwis have trilled with EPL clubs and academies before, but few have sigbned contracts.

No news is news until it is confirmed.

Nothing wrong with a bit of footie gossip.  After watching another classic episode of 'Footballers Wives'  I say we welcome any relationship to this ideal scenario.

Ricki on the news page saying that Draper and Spoonley are pretty much locked in. So much for Spoonley going to a US college.

Don't think they will use it right now, always good to ave a free player slot incase something happens during the season.

Wise words nestling... great club by the way.

If daniel got injured who'd be our left mid etc. Leave it open, and wait and see what eventuates... besides it'll save serps some money : )

So Plodder is the permanent right-back eh? With challenge/backup from Old?

Will be good to see Carney, Brosque, Keenan, Heffernan, McKay and co run at them :)

yea talked to him this monring, after the game, he had a positive responce from coaching staff, if not there,  a game (trial) like that opens quite a few doors. He has had a very good contact in england, who knows whats going on and is very sharp, mabe nz soccer should be doing this to???, to have a direct contact with someone who is talking to major clubs.
Im rapt for him!!!! Ill keep you guys who are interested posted!!
