What do you reckon is the best part of being a football (Nix) supporter?
e.g. like, waking up and its game day
Putting your gear on and walking to the pub
Joining the other fans before the game to get psyched up
Walking down the concourse to the ROF
Watching the warm ups
Cheering each player's name as they get called out
....
This isn't a poll, just a chance to have a few seconds in fantasy land

The huge time difference between aisle 21 and 22 when chanting send chills down my spine. Ha.
The whole match day is good for me.

Thats right.
The sight that is, News jumping up and down and cracking massive highs while screaming "Ricki Herberts!".
And the laughter that follows.

Away games - 80 odd Nix fans taking it to the local masses - great fun.
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

getting a wave from a player or Ricky when you've been chanting or singing to them from the zone is pretty special

Showing up to team practices and chatting with all the players and realising that they are just ordinary fellas and no pretniousness unlike other players at other professional clubs/codes! Lonegunmen2009-03-14 00:04:24

Agreed. Going to Sydney game with the few and the proud. 100 Nix fans and making more noise than 9000 bling fans, then beating them in the final minute, celebrating with the team after the game then heading to they Bling home pub get wrecked with their fans, brilliant stuff.

The air of excitement while filing out of the RoF after a win & hearing the continuous singing of "Oh Wellington" from the die hard YF just inside the doors out to the concourse.

Persuading a friend/work-mate/family member to sample the fever experience, who has never savoured the passion and excitement of the beautiful game, and watch them catch the footy bug.

Also, the Captain Fantastic Burgers are sensational. Especially when washed down with discounted bevy! I miss the Backbencher.
