Dear travelling circus attendees,

Sorry it’s been a long time coming, but we are pleased to announce this year, Yellow Fever will be basing ourselves pre and post game at The Faltering Fullback. They can be found at 429 New North Road, Kingsland – a short 4 minute stroll from Eden Park.

And while due to recent liquor laws we can’t advertise the precise details, you can take our word that the good folks are offering drink specials for everyone in yellow.

Along with their ‘no item over $20’ menu, you can get steak with fries or mash for a tenner. Bargain! So get in early for lunch.

Throughout the afternoon they will be showing replays of the two Friday night games. So settle in to witness the latest instalment of howlers missed by Mifsud, and watch BarbarJudas’s Melbourne Victory notch up their 3rd consecutive 5-0 hammering.

They’ll have the later Saturday game on post game.

So let’s pack it out.

A bit disrespectful really.  I think Caira is still a work in progress - don't think he should be considered faltering.

WTF?  Where is my "God New Zealand is shit" thread?

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

"The Farting Fullback"...what a terrible name for a pub.

I'll be there with bells on, only I can't get too drunk, since my Gaelic team are playing to win the league on Sunday and I'll need my goalkeeping wits about me.

Liam Reddy plays drunk and he seems to do alright for himself. So you'll be fine.

The flaw in this logic is that Liam Reddy is of Irish descent and I'm not.

What time are people heading in to this pub? A few of us Auckland based people thought we might show a bit of love to The Fox, who put the games on for us every week up here, then nip over to Fullback maybe two / two and a half hours before kick off. Like a half assed, two-pub Auckland version of twelve pubs! If anyone else is keen to have slightly more drinks than is necessary, bloody join in.

Is it just beers that are cheap? Or any house spirits cheap as well?

Limited spirit and wine deal.

Limited in price or variety?

Both ;)

Reduced price on a small range. Quite a sharp deal though.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Brilliant pre-match ambience. Gareth looked just like one of the boys.
