A different kind of send off from the one he got from YF a few years back after his red card but that would only be small consolation. I'm never going to change my mind about him but I'd feel sorry for any player suffering a probably career-ending injury like that. Feel sorry for his wife too - imagine being stuck with an angry, angry Nutcracker laid up on the couch for the next two months!

Any news on what specific damage was done yet? ACL? MCL? Dislocation? It looked fudgeing horrible, whatever it was

They said on the news that the club would know later in the week. Surely they go straight to Boulcot or Southern Cross for scans straight away.

Gotta wait for any swelling etc to go down first

Im really surprised there has been little comment about the watering of the pitch.Watching a replay again today it seemed as if his  boot stuck in the soft surface you can see the water splashing up as he goes down.

I think they over watered it judging by the spray coming off the surface. This was quite farcile (Spelling ?).

I applauded him off, not in celebration that he had gone but because you don't likle to see anyone in a Phoenix shirt injured like that.

Don't think i joined in the chorus of Jo-el, Jo-el.

Jo-el, Jo-el, Jo-el, Jo-el

He played for the Phoenix and did quite well.

One thing I did appreciate with his efforts, is that he showed a passion for the team and did his best.

Even on Sunday, he was covering in defence. His legs might not be young but his effort was good.

I don't know where this injury will take him but I hope the players like Krishna learn from his experience the desire to win attitude and to stick up for himself and his teamates.

Fair call, but I don't think Krishna needs any encouragement to track back. There was a Victory counter attack on Sunday where he sprinted a good 80 metres to help Fenton out. He gets through a heap of defensive work

Krishna is terrific at tracking back, I reckon. Has saved us quite a few times.

Yeah Krishna has worked hard at his game and improved. He get back on in tracking a lot more from his 'amateur' days but also the brain explosion tackles have gone too.

When you consider we had Brian Kaltak (?) on trial and signed Totori, Krishna looks the best of the lot of them. I kinda thought that Fa'arodo would have reappeared at some point in the HAL but he is still with TW it seems.

I have to say, when he played for the Jets and Sydney he was possibly the player I hated the most, with Matt Simon and Jacob Burns in tow. But over the last few weeks I have enjoyed seeing him play for us - he always gave 100% and you could tell he was wanting to leave his mark and do well for the team. And besides, I think he made a tangible contribution to the way we played when he was on the pitch.

It was sad to see him down in what is likely to be a career-ending injury. At the end of the day, I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Until the scans are done and the results obtained, I will keep crossing my fingers that it's not as serious as previously thought, although it doesn't look good I must admit.

There was scene in the 1st half where Krishna tracking back with double the speed of the rest of the field to intercept.

Looks to be in the Ifill injury category in so much as a serious enough injury if you are in your twenties but to someone in their mid thirties a whole different subject altogether.  The immediate reaction from the player is often pretty telling and he knew straight away it was bad.

Horrible to watch anyone go down with an injury like that. Wish him all the best for a speedy recovery, even if it isn't with the Nix.

P.S. how long did it take them to get him out of the ground though? Seemed to take an age for the cart to get to him. If I was sitting there in agony the last think I'd want is to have to wait for 10 minutes on the side of the ground while someone found the keys to the cart.

Less time than it took all those Victory players who dies to be carted off before they were miraculously healed on the sidelines.  Cods.

Confirmed rupture of ACL in left leg. Interesting to note in the article that the Nix where going to offer him a contract extention for next season and he was thinking it over and was likely to sign.
