It's a reference to the Manawatu Age of Consent. To find out if their girlfriends/cousins are old enough for sex, Palmy residents will place her in a barrel. If she is tall enough to see out of the barrel, she's good to go. If she isn't, they find a smaller barrel. If they can't find a small enoguh barrel, they put her in a bucket.

Good idea, I might just stick with yellow but it would be awesome to see! My backup plan was to get a black bucket and yellow tape/paint in case I couldn't find one in yellow.
