I'm sure it's better than the cringeworthy AFL-like song that gets played after every Melbourne win. At least it's made by the fans. valeo2009-07-29 14:21:00

And it is awesome that we actually have a song.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Horribly though this song is akin to discovering a monstrous fatal car crash on your way home, images of the crash like the tune/lyrics of this song will endlessly reverberate around your mind until your very soul screams for release...

That sums up my whole feeling about the song C-Did - tries a little too hard.

At least some tried. Ok, not the best thing I have heard but it beats any rap song hands down.

I agree that it was a good effort to try it, unfortunately I'm not a fan either.

We should keep trying until we come up with something cool that the fever want to sing.

Perhaps AC?DC would like to pen us a song? Use the music to "Ballbreaker" for example?

Back to the Studio for you Feverish:

You can hear the fever singing
in the wind and in the rain
hoping Herbert will bring Rojas on
to beat the Victory once again
oh oh oh he's a Wellington man

well he's a Fever Zone deciple
he's a legend of his kind
he's singing in the Ring of Fire
and he has three points on his mind
oh oh oh he's a Wellington man

he believes in god and elvis
he gets out when he can
he did his time in Auckland
he's a long time football fan
with a heart of gold
in a complicated land
oh he's a Wellington man

well he loves his Retro Ricki
and he loves to wear the stripes
saving all his browny points
for the match on friday night
he ain't worried about tomorrow
cause he just made up his mind
life's too short for watching rugby
take it one match at a time
oh oh oh he's a Wellington man
oh oh oh he's a Wellington man
oh yeah
yes he is
well he's a Wellington man
oh
ma ma . . . . . . . i tell you he's a Wellington man

I've always quite liked it but have never been able to download it from the podcast section (just comes up "page cannot be found"). PM'd C-Nut about it a couple of times but he never got around to fixing the link I guess as it still didn't work when I tried it just now.  Anyone got a link that works please?   Cheers

It was also in the TV section at one stage not sure if its still there.Still waiting to see some people come up with an alternative that includes studio time to make it and the time spent buy the guys fixing up Feverish's vocals.Very easy to criticise yet dont see people releasing something different.

it's in the TV section - Feverish put in a link to it earlier in this thread - but you can't download that - or I don't know how to anyway! - and I only want the sound, to add to my USB stick of Nix-related stuff to listen to in the car, particularly on the way to games!
