Tickets pricing at the caketin

I am going to attend my first Phoenix game on Sunday against Perth.  I am bit confused about ticket pricing at the caketin.

Where do I end up seating under a gold ($35)/silver/family/fever ($25) ticket?  What's best to see the game?  Is there also a chance to get autographs for the kids after the game?

I would appreciate your advice

My advice; if it was just you to be in the thick of the atmosphere go in the yellow fever zone. With young kids I'd suggest Ailses 23 left or 24 right. You get the best of the atmosphere but at a "safe" distance.

If the kids hang around after the game and catch a players eye then could get lucky with the autographs.

Enjoy the game !!

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

If you wish to stand, sing, shout, join-in (and perhaps drink a lot of beer - if you like beer and are old enough), then YF zone is for you (aisle 21/22 and you MUST buy a ticket for this area because they check). Otherwise, I'd recommend 23 thru 28, depending on your preference/budget. I'll be the one dressed in yellow and black, by the way!

I'm slightly disappointed!

You might also like to pop along to the Backbencher before the game for some pre match refreshments.

And perhaps some vocal warm-ups too, for good measure? :)

Just quietly lads, if you are in the bencher we might need a little help with a video project.  Bring your singing voices.

Just going to say that LG.

Just so you know, Kiwigooner... we usually refer to the stadium as the Ring Of Fire, or ROF for short.

The Wellington Phoenix rises from the ashes in the Ring Of Fire.

buy the cheapest tickets you can and then move (once the game starts). Be prepared to move if you happen to be in someones seat

I wouldn't recommend saying cake tin unless you're talking about cooking recipies.

South Island visitor? Thanks for making the trip up. I hope it's a decent day and a decent game for you. Try the burgers at the BB too, they help the liquid intake. And they taste pretty good too.

On the topic of getting signatures, this is madly easy if you get the seats at the fron corner of Aisle 22 i.e right at the entrance. If you go in as soon as the gates open as well very often the reserves and sometime Ricki come out and have a bit of a walk on the pitch.

After the game you can pretty much wait for the players to come over and just stand about looking expectant with a pen, worked like a charm for me, got ten odd signatures on my retro ricki in one game

Show up to practices between 9:30 & 10:30 and the players are quite accomodating for autographs and photos and a chat. Then it gets serious for two hours or training which you can watch and get a measure of things.
