Just came home from dominating indoor (our team wears Retro Rickis) and saw Brownie sitting with Deaker as the credits came up. Anyone see it? Worth watching or did you try and talk about rugby to him? yours please..

He was good - gave big wraps to YF and came across well.  Thought Deaks gave him a pretty good go too....

I can't stand the man, but I seem to be playing Devil's advocate here. 

He's given the Phoenix decent coverage, and even gave the Fever a good 20 minutes the other week talking to Cnut.  All this despite it being the middle of the Air New Zealand Cup, and the Rugby World Cup.

Let's wait until he does something to bag the club before we make him public enemy number 1.

Tim Brown was a great to the Phoenix and a credit to NZ football. Articulate ( he used the word transcend FFS), intelligent and impressed Nosferatu with his erudite comments.

And he's going to have to something pretty sh*tty to knock Paul Henry off first place...

Put it this way, who else is giving football more than a fair shake. At least Deaker is giving it the 15mins of fame it deserves for a club that is only 5 games old remember

I just got really weird looks from the flatmates after bursting into laughter while they're watching a heart-rending drama on TV...all class

And while I'm as keen on Deaker as a Scotsman on giving to charity, I have to agree with HN and Ducky...he has actually given the Phoenix a fair amount of coverage, in the middle of the Rugby World Cup, and he has to be congratulated for that, and hopefully then he will keep it up.
