There was today at 10am.
Troy Hearfield looked the goods.
Plodder only watching.
No Smeltz or Bertos.
Lochhead did best in the beep test.

Don't we have a forum rule against quoting yourself in your sig?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

He's Greek. There's like a compassionate consideration or something. Much like the Special Olympics.

Training this morning:

Not involved : Durante
Not present : Tim Brown
Recovery : Covs, SuperLeo

Krishna didn't look remotely out of place.

that's a wee stretch in terms of the official story,

but it has been noted that in a scramble in the transfer zone Tony P loses his media markers pretty easily

I just spotted this.

DKP I am becoming, increasingly, a fan of your work.

Keep it up.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I think he means that you imply one thing initially, but that isn't quite the same as what turns out to be; i.e. your sell the dummy to your marker ...

(I'm thinking of the signing of Stevo's favourite player, Leilei Gao, here in particular ...)

Nothing wrong with that, given your position; I think most of us are happy to hear whatever you have to say ...

Ok understand. The leilei one was quite funny as we were in the negotiation stage when it came up in the forum.

Tony, Bevan translated my analogy accurately

and like Bevan I have no problem at all with how you communicate with the media around transfers (I imagine it is a complex process and one where ill-timed media disclosures could make it more difficult for you to get the man the club wants. Regarding transfers out I can see that a fair degree of sensitivity is required.)

my comment came from the fact that, i was amused once when you came back on the board a few weeks after a post you'd made and pointed out the precise wording in that earlier post from you that had thrown us off the scent of a particular transfer that did later occur (i can't remember who) I think we appreciated your openness with us and your sense of humour- so maybe i should have said "YF markers" - but that would have been even less clear  and lost the alliteration

..... etc ... etc

So what about Scholes then, does he sign on friday

are the nix planning on releasing their training times each week like they did for a time during last year's preseason?

No Johnson or Hearfield up there today.

I left and they were playing XI on XI with some college lads filling in to make the numbers, plus Umbro Dan Findlay, an Australian triallist (who I suspect is Michael Catalano Junior) and Wayne O'Sullivan.

Some quality play and Feverish language out there.

Super Leo and Tim Brown doing fitness laps of the pitch.

Phoenix towers must have been empty as well, Terry, Tony P, John Mitchell, Mal I. all up there having a nosey.
