Hey people
Just trying to get some idea of numbers of those
interested in some form of (dis) organized travel arrangments for
those living outside (Read=North) of Wellywood.
I am trying to get some sort of idea of numbers for those
interested in pick ups along the way Departing from Auckland.
Not sure if this will work though as I myself would rather fly
down during colder months.
Cost =Dunno just have to pinch one of the old collection boxes
from the church along the road I Guess.
Any ideas?..feedback..ie which games would you rather see
etc
Basically I am just trying to get something off the ground
here and see where it leads too

Yep me and a mate are definetly in, and as I said some others maybe.
I think the first game against Melbourne is a
must. The only problem is games are on Friday/Sunday, which
means if driving/training we will need to take the next
day off possbly, depending on game times.
Also, an away game wouldnt hurt ;)
I know someone who works for a company renting out Mini Vans, maybe be able to get them on the cheap... you can drive 8 people on a regular licence.

Didnt find the Sunday games to bad when we were travelling to
Auckland. There's bugger all traffic on the road on Sunday nights
so we didnt get back to Wellington to late, still enough sleep for
work the next day. You could also look at a cheap flight down on a
Sat/Sun morning and pick up a rental car to drive back to Auckland.
They charge anything from $0 to $10 to take one back to Auckland so
its a very cheap option. Usually down and back the same day so
there's no overnight costs. We could do Wgtn to Erricson return for
under $150 bucks (petrol was cheaper than)
Agree the Friday night games are the hardest to get to get to
from outta town :(
