Is there some way we can outlaw him from crossing? He is one of the worst crossers I have ever seen. But on the plus side, he's good at taking on defenders. I reckon we'd get a lot more penalties/goals if he took on some defnders rather than failing to get his cross past the first man

haha, outlaw him from crossing. I wish. He's alright at taking on defenders I guess, I'm not a huge Hearfield fan in general. But crossing is kind of what he's supposed to be doing in his position.

Actually, considering he's an attacking midfielder and we're playing him at right back.... Troy has an awesome shot on him on the rare occassions you see it in games. At practices he's pretty good.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Ah yes, but in the words of Iffil "at practice we play like real madrid!".

He set up the first goal with a pin-point cross against Perth.  Needs to get forward more and have confidence in the CB's to cover him.  He's not a defender but is having to make do in that position otherwise he doesn't play.  While he hasn't done as well as I'd have hoped overall he's still not bad all things considered.  That's not to say he hasn't had a few absolutely woeful matches but who hasn't?
