TV coverage
The lack of TV coverage by our news media is starting to get rediculous.
Frist the U20's go to a world cup that was touted as being in the top three attended and veiwed global sporting events this year, without harldy a wimper or a glance from our TV news media. If it had been a junior Rugby suqad at an event 1/5th of the size it still would've had a minute of coverage every night while they tourney was on. The bloody sailing occupied about 5-10 minutes every night. . . what a crock, the only reason peple got itno it was becasue they were hoodwinked into thinking that the team was a nationally representative one. It's become a joke.Yea definitely agree terrible coverage, I sent complaints to both today, and I imagine a stream of responses may help. It does with sky anyway, when they put on the second leg of Australia v Uruguay on due to public pressure, when it was not scheduled to be showing. Not acceptable, especially when there was a 2 minute section on David Beckham at the Galaxy that didn't even show Chelsea's goal. Football or fashion show?

True, watching Beckham warm up, didn't even see the goal, do we care that much about celebrities??? I guess TV watchers do because of the over blown story on a heiress, but that's another story
Last year, didn't a couple hundred Victory fans protest outside some media outlet demanding more reasonable coverage? Fairly militant. But would give the Chris Mirams of this world something to think about...
