hi all, i am looking into starting up a weekly 2 hour soccer training sessions for boys and girls aged between 8-14. i am looking to start up at the beginning of November. I am SFA(Scottish Football Association) qualified to coach under 14's and the other coach got his badges in England. Our aim is to capitals on the all whites world cup campaign to help develop the future of New Zealand Football. We would start with a 8 week course finishing with a mini world cup competition. The training itself would firstly be fun for the children and on top of that we would try and help develop the children's technical skill level
i just wanted to ask the mum and dads out there a few questions.

1) i was thinking $20 for the 2 hours would be fair, yes or no? if not what would be a more realistic price?
2) who thinks their children would be interested in the training?
3) i was thinking 4.30pm to 6.30pm on a Monday or Tuesday would be good. would this fit in to a normal family schedule?

if anyone has any advice please contact me at dm0210@hotmail.co.uk

Cheers

To be positive i'll answer your questions.

$20 seems fair.
I suppose you should target schools to get on board.
Would prob suit most families. You have to remember primary school finishes at 3ish so maybe earlier? May want to have an area close to a school or at a school. Some children may not be able to make it if parents work etc etc.

ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

Best thing you can do mate is work in with NZ Football, they're over hauling how we teach football in this country, so the more in line with them that you can be the better.

Does this mean the next generation of All Whites will be lining up in a 4-6-0 formation?
