Not sure if this is the right section to place this thread so Mods feel free to move it as necessary. (Not the rubbish bin - please)

Would Upper Hutt based Phoenix fans check in here? The petone fans have me inspired. It would be nice to know who's local and goes to games. maybe we too could do a tee shirt for us? I usually have 2 spare seats in my car. Four of us and that's $5 each for parking opposite the stadium. Regardless, maybe we could all meet up and sort something out regarding our support for the Nix?

As an ex-pat Upper Hutt boy (kind of) do I qualify! (I got an Upper Hutt City polo shirt presented to me before I left - maybe not a good look for a referee )

Rimutaka Tavern is a solo mum's pub? Puts a whole new slant on their annual pig hunt then!!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I heard every Wed night the Solo mums from Timberlea meet at the Tavern.

But back to the thread. We could meet up at the Cossie before going in to the games!!

You're old man is obviously a man of immense intelligence, wit, charm and personality.

So Jag who"s left at Firhill? Kiwi Jambo2007-10-31 18:16:31

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

I'm getting worried, that makes 4 Thistle fans in NZ that I know about (including me, obviously)

Funny, I just live around the corner from the Rimutaka Tavern and stopped at the bottle store on the way back from work (as you do), looked in and there must have been 40 to 50 lads all decked out in freshly ironed Yellow Fever shirts.

No solo mums tho... so it could get ugly down there later.
