How much would it cost to make? Could we get latex Ricki masks for future Nix/AW games?

cost price is a minimum of around $5000, depending on complexity and props/backdrop. this one is likely to closer to the $10k mark

Thanks UG. Wow $10k!  Big ups to BB then - hopefully BB recoups this through copious patronage from YF.

There goes one idea for a J82 household christmas present.

Maybe a Ricki gnome to go with the Nix one?

If you put the price of the puppet in the context of marketing/advertising, then its pretty cheap for slots on the 6pm news on TVNZ and TV3 plus a colour front page article on the Sunday star times. add in the fact that we were shown live during the fifa draw Saturday morning (with Smithy's smiling mug behind Ricki's shoulder for most of it). its media coverage you just couldn't buy as a small business.

Is there a date yet for the great unveiling? I can't wait to see Ricki's puppet!

I take it Bryce Curtis is the puppetmaker?

or Richard Taylor???

AFAIK the 'creator" is someone who worked and created the originals from the TV show the political ones came from. The TV production company behind them is the Gibson Group but I'm fairly sure they no longer have anything to do with it.

We once approached Weta about a Peter Jackson puppet, but Weta didn't/don't have time in their schedule.
