Vote for Terry & the Phoenix

Hopefully this link works:

There is an opportunity to vote for Terry and the Phoenix as being the best thing to happen in Wellington recently. There is also the opportunity not to vote for Terry as being a bad thing. I leave the remainder up to your consciences. I have to admit I could not vote for dub rappers or whatever that section was, but was able  to vote for drinking establishments etc.

Buildings one IS negative. Terry isn't a villain, he's a hero, so I voted for him in pride one and voted for Prenderghastly in the other in hopes that Terry won't get the villainy vote. Tough competition though on the pride one - Bret and Jermaine will get a lot of votes. I'm not really a Conchords fan myself though, even though I might be working with them (they might be giving a free concert at Civic Square on December the 8th for our climate change festival)

I'm stoked for their success, it's awesome seeing Wellingtonians do great on the world stage, but the music and their show doesn't really stand out for me. I wish them all the best of course, but yeah, football comes first

In case you missed it, the results produced good news and bad news. The bad news was that Terry did not get Wellingtonian of the year - though FotC are worthy winners. The good news was that his he didn't get the villain award - despite Masey's confusion .... Kiwi Jambo probably voted several times for the eventual "winner" of that one!
