ok first half

bertos looking much better for me
but summed up by greenacre not being ready for the ball
he had 1 good chance and 1 great chance ruined cause he wasnt ready for the ball, you should always be ready for it

then after that get hit like that,

also bring on paston he would ahve saved that warner was to slow off his linedetoxin2011-11-19 17:58:36

Good old Tim. The guy must have no intelegence at all.The worst booking I have seen for ages.
Durante's poor marking and were are I down. We are still in this but need to improve 25%

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Think that breeze is a bit more helpful than it looks. We might struggle facing into it in the 2nd half. Difference in the teams is that they have 3 or 4 players that can do something special -basically we don't have anybody.

Who will score our goal ????
Permalink Permalink

If we want to score we need to push Smith on and play 4-4-2, with Greenie up front by himself, and dropping in to collect at feet it looks as though we are playing a 4-6-0...

They are playing all the football...mising Sanchez.

We also need to make our set pieces count for more than that...

I'm perpetually amazed that Bertos has retained his role as set piece taker.

A couple of seasons back he scored a great goal against Perth (free kick) since then he has the duty.  Although when either Danial or Ifill are on they take it.  I always thought Ward was a set piece taker

The thing about that free kick was he didn't even score it directly, it took a big deflection from the wall to go in! Definitely think we should give Smith or Ward a go.

Durante giving the boys a rev up,  they seem to need it.  Maybe Ifill will give us the spark we need

Personally think Vince Lia's having a shocker.

Personally, think Tim and Vince could start a magic show when they retire from football; their signature trick will be the disappearing act...

Personally think most of the team is having a mare...wasteful football, poor passing and panicked volleys to nobody.Disappointing,so far.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

vince tim brown bertos and lochead have been absolutely shocking in giving the ball away tonight, passing to no-one, lumping the ball away, too many touches - there is a common denominator between these players as well.

Those Aucklanders who have turned up looking for professional A League football are not going to be impressed.Great turnout (apparently 20k from Gareth Morgan earlier) but would they come again for this lack of quality??

Better than taking a shot on.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.
