May I just say that if that ball from Ifill for the Sanchez miss was played by Kewell we'd still be able to hear Simon Hill and Robbie Slaterfapping about it now 14 hours later.

Wrong thread I know (lazy) (less wrong now) but is Ricki utilising Greenie properly?
He did seem to be outpaced at times, so I wonder if he needs to swap with Smith.
Or something
From my eyes, Greenie seems to be utlised recently as a false 9. You can see it quite clearly on attack when Greenie either drops deep or pulls his man out wide (allowing space for Ifill or another wide player to get in front of goal). I think its actually very rare to see him in the middle of the penalty box these days, and it seems to be working well - he can hold up the ball and has a very accurate short pass. We're now less reliant on crosses and our wide players are able to cut inside into space and have more shots. You could also see this working last night with Ifill (almost as a false 10) running into the space from deep.

Might as well just have False 1-11 then

Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro and Wellington Phoenix, my two teams til death do us part.

If only we could master the tune of Go West, "1-0 to the Phoenix" would be our new chant.

Guess it might have been mentioned already, but well done to those who went over for the game. In the second half all you could hear from the crowd was Phoenix chants. Was noticed and commented on by the Fox Sports commentators too.

tops off kids were from RH academy..

After this they all hopped on the bus and headed to Ausgrid stadium for the game. The players and staff went and sat with all the Yellow fever fans and the chanting that they had been practising on the bus for the last few days had paid off as they were louder than the home supporters. The game was a very exciting game which the Phoenix won 1-0 after a excellent goal from Manny Muscat. In the last 10 minutes the players got their shirts off and were seen on the big screen at the stadium. Their support was a big help for the Phoenix, who after the game all came over and chatted with the RHFA supporters. This was a great result for not just the Phoenix, but for the enjoyment of the RHFA players.

The fact we do it differently to everyone else makes it all the more "special"!

Saw that and wondered if he'd bought Terry's teeth on the cheap at a Liquidation sale...
