Nah, they would have said they done it, then that they got banned, and then they would have had a protest about it.

Hey I mentioned this in season 3 or so when we finished last as a joke but got shot down by FrankieMac -  I was not a proper supporter etc, Jeez how things have changed

It obviously affected you if you're still going on about it.

Three for me, and two for them.

I think it would be a rich of me to say someone was not a proper supporter considering I don't think I have ever seen the second half of a Phoenix game without having to cover one eye to help me focus.

What I probably said was that it was a stupid idea (celebrating coming last), which is a statement I stand by.  But then when did my thoughts have any sway or influence?

If we come last, we're really the strongest team in the league - we're holding 9 others above our heads.

However, I'm hoping for 3 points on Sunday and for us NOT to finish last. Roll on next season, Can't wait for it to start!

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Talking about RBB doing The Poznan, here is interesting trivia from my Polish friends: among the supporters of Lech Poznan, where the routine originated, it is known as "doing The Greek". It is actually the visiting English supporters (Chelsea if I recall) who named it "The Poznan" after the local Polish team's home town, as a way of honouring their opponents' passion etc.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Wellington Phoenix v Melbourne Victory: Will Ange’s rant hit home?
Ange Postecoglou tore into his side after their loss to Perth Glory last week so we can expect to see a much-improved Victory in Wellington. Archie Thompson, Marco Rojas and Mark Milligan are all set to return from international duty will also help, and you’d expect Melbourne to aim to finish this home-and-away season with a bang before the finals.

They’ll have to deal with a carefree Wellington side, though. Chris Greenacre has enjoyed a pressure free introduction to the big chair.

Phoenix have nothing to lose and if he can guide them off bottom place, the Englishman can consider his short stint as big cheese a success.

Neither team are playing for their season in this fixture but will be going out for pride – how much motivation and competition will that provide?

I forgot that this is the first time that Marco is coming back to Westpac since Round 4 last season. Judas.

Yeah didn't they put him on the bench because he was too scared to start for all the ill feeling that would be directed towards him?

Can remember 2 Victory players holding back, so they could walk off with him. Marco is played 5, won 5 against us. Really hope that changes.

Archie+Rojas and Brockie and an in-form Ifill hardly make it look like it'll be 0-0.

Greenacre will be without Vince Lia (toe), Glen Moss (knee) and Tony Lochhead (leg), while Isaka Cernak (ankle) is still doubtful for the match.

It leaves Greenacre light on holding midfielders with Manny Muscat expected to remain at right-back and Ian Hogg at left-back.

Louis Fenton, Dani Sanchez, Alex Smith and Cameron Lindsay are Greenacre's midfield options.

Returning All Whites Durante, Ben Sigmund, Leo Bertos, Jeremy Brockie and Mark Paston are all expected to start.

"The biggest goal on Sunday is getting some sort of result that propels them ahead of the Melbourne Heart on the ladder and means they avoid the wooden spoon. The two teams are locked on 27 points with one game remaining but the Heart, who host a Newcastle still with a chance of making the playoffs on Sunday, have a significantly better goal difference."

oh dear, Michael Brown, check your info!
