just back from game - WSW dominated the 1sr half, doing what we couldn't - that is hold the ball for long periods , stringing passes together, no clear cut chances ffor nix in 1st half. Looked better in 2nds half, nice goal from corner to Brockie. Brockie and Fenton looked good today, for me the standouts. Totori looks good when he has the ball but looked a bit lazy off the ball for my liking. Stein, didnt see much of the ball, got subbed after 75, looked eager - may not be creative, just a finisher - hard to tell from today. Ricardo got a run for last 15, certainly fast but tended to leave the ball behind him - need to seee more of him to be fair. Siggy was strong as usual, as was Dura, Leo - not sure about him playing right back and a couple of times when he would take a corner the wsw keeper would take a clean take and send the ball to right wing where Leo wasnt for them to make a break.

They reckon 6500 were there - seemed like more than that.

WSW looked good, could surprise this season.

Oh and who thought that thunder sticks would be a good idea should be shot!

Brockie and Fenton plus Bertos could combine well on the right wing and pose as a danger to the opposition, Manny needs to stop yelling a wee bit and focus on passing the ball, almost gave the ball away to the WSW. Totori had some skills but needs to track back a bit, good defense work as usual and Bertos needs to choose his moments to go forward and not leave the right wing wide open for any counter attacks, a bit disappointed by Stein but he hardly got any ball at all - needs better service from wings, Brockie was great and is damn useful on the right side when Bertos or Fenton supplied him with the ball and  thunder sticks definitely should go, got a bloody headache at the end

So the Manny and Smith midfield combination didn't go well... disappointing to hear.

Out of the subs did any make a positive contribution?
