Wasn't sure that category this should go under but anyway,

anyone else find the amount of W-league content on the a-league's website really, really anoying. They have more than they do on the A-league teams.

Yes.

I wonder how many supporters of the other A-League teams care about their respective women's teams?

Pretty much, I doubt it gets much media coverage over there, and FFA seem to be very keen to make it work well.

The cynical side of me suggests the A League are making an all out attempt in attracting more females to football in general and if they have their own League, they might also show up to the mens version, helping turn around falling attendences.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Like HK keeper said are you sure it's not because the A-league is having a week off and the women's league is playing so of course they is going to be more W-League coverage.

It should also be noted that the W-League has a free-to -air TV deal, which the A-League does not.

You're complaining about a little coverage for the W-League? When they get barely any anywhere else?

There are two Kiwis playing for the Melbourne Victory - Marlies Oostdam and Rebecca Tegg.

I'd love to be the meat in Teggs sandwich
