Maybe.. Although the Phoenix couldn't beat the u-20s in the lead up to their first A-League. Not that that means much. I would expect a whallopping but the Phoenix may not approach the game as a serious match.

Exactly and who knows who will turn out for Watakere with players at Winter clubs or elsewhere.

I think the game would be in Dec according to the NZHerald....if it was during the A-League season the Phoenix would do it mid week and give the reserves a game.
