I enjoyed watching the Waitakere game in the WCC the other day, especially the last 20 minutes. First time I've seen Totori, and I was impressed, he could probably do well at the Nix, but he was certainly helped by having Embers there doing a great job as target man like he did for the Knights at the end.
Danny Hay showed he can still mix it most attackers, especially if he has mobile people around him.
Don't think I'd be signing poor old keeper!

Would only consider Totori and maybe Bale for the Nix. The rest were terrible. Notably Simon "Throw the ball into the net" Eaddy and Jonathan "I had 5 seconds to judge it and it still hit my arm" Perry.

Three for me, and two for them.

sif, the waitak defence are mainly has beens, they're all grey.. it was sheer luck that they drew with auckland, the 1 moment our keeper makes a mistake after a good run of games... they barely did anything else, i was there.

if we go to the nzfc the only logical player would be Ben Sigmund, i would probably rate Emblem as the best of the oldies Waitak plays, but would only have him at the nix as some sort of coach, not a player.

Sigmund yes thought he might of been picked up when the nix got Rees
Totori maybe could work well with smeltz, not to sure about his pace though

Couldn't be, too many clubs, to many international transfers

He's quick, that was part of what caused Sepahan issues.

He's quick but he's bloody greedy. Interesting if he has another good year for waitak whether the aussie clubs might start having a look as well.

Totori was the only player that really caused Sephan any danger in the first 60 mins or so. They sent me to sleep after that. He showed he has good technique and isnt afraid to try something

Yeah - I think we need a player like that sometimes. Someone who isn't afraid to have a go. It seems like we try and walk it in at times.

Brownlie seems to like to have a crack. Not sure about his other play though...

Totori is more technically gift then virtually all the AWs, and faster to boot. Wasted in that team of geriatrics.

As for their performance, I saw it on Sky TV here in the UK and Waitak got panned although they did score a goal, something no other team from Oceania has done (at least I don't remember Sydney scoring).

Can't wait for the Phoenix to have its shot!
