WANTED: Fever Volunteer

Hey forum.

I'm looking for some enthusiastic whippet to pick up an entirely unpaid job for the Fever being our point of contact with the Club.

Traditionally this is something that I've done mostly, and I just don't have time.

Job basically entails catching up with Phoenix marketing types on a semi-regular basis, but to do it you have to keep up to date with what initiatives are happening in Fever land - so it effectively means joining the Fever Elite Super Executive Wot Wield All The Power Round Here HOORAA.

You also have to like social drinking, and spending quite a bit of time banging your head against a brick wall.

You have to have time during the working week to catch up with the Nix too. Usually in the Courtenay/Cuba part of town.

On the plus side, the Phoenix usually pay for the coffees. And you will get your very own @yellowfever.co.nz email address to show off to all your non-Elite friends.

It would help if you were not a muppet, but I'm open to all expressions of interest.

What roughly do you usually meet them about/discuss? Wouldn't want to turn up without really knowing why.

Hi Smithy - just to clarify a bit - how often would you meet with the Nix and how long would each meeting be for.  Just rough estimates to give us an idea of how long we'd need to be away from the office for these meetings.

I am prepared to put my hand up. 

I assume the Nix peeps would be accomodating in terms of working times around our real jobs?

I'm not sure there is anyone cooler than you drips.

Every couple of weeks, approx one hour plus travel time to/from meeting.

Cant do it for geographical reasons.

Hey Tegal - guessing you got the job... any chance you can talk to the club about putting coverage of the WeeNix on youtube similar to TW, etc. It would be helpful for "fan engagement", yada yada. 

Guessing it's a High View Sport package they pay for anyway. 

I didn't get the job, but am sure whoever did will see that post. It's a good idea, since they seem to be filming it anyway. 

It's not. Their Academy film it. Don't know how keen they'll be to devote resource to editing together a highlight package. But worth asking I agree.
