Whilst we will be waiting longer until the new Courtney Place sports bar is ready to use as the official away venue for YF, we are gonna have a bar that we can call our own in the meantime.
The 'Fever Lounge', as it is to be dubbed, is located downstairs near the Bungy on Dixon St, and is gonna be open for the Mariners match this F riday. Matt is working hard at short notice to get the place yellowed up and kitted out with TVs and projectors galore.
Prior to the CCM game (10pm ko), we will show the Nix
game from Sunday, including the build full build
up.
$4 pints, $8 jugs, and you can even get your BB shirt voucher stamped.
Let us know if you have anything that would be useful to decorate the place in a YF vibe, as it's still a work in progress. Matt has been one of the staunchest supporters of YF since day 1 and he's come up with the goods once again. So get along Friday night and catch up with the Yellow Fever crew as the Phoenix seek their first away points of the season.

Currently it's called the underground bar, but by Friday night she'll be packed to the gunnels with TV screens and black and yellow paint...
...she's a work in progress so Matt won't have it completely done by Friday but more than useable for us and finished in the coming weeks.

Well by the sounds of it, the only ones feeling left out this

Great work by Matt, especially the cards, I'm well impressed with how YF has formed, but like the footie team I support, I'm fussy about what I drink. Anybody know what's going to be on tap at the underground bar? Historically it's been the sort of stuff a only a league fan could drink.

Unfortunatly until we open properly we will only have Speights ,
Macs Gold and Lion Brown on tap but I'll make sure that we have a
good selection of bottle beers to keep everybody happy.

Hope you all have a good night over there. I'm across in Canberra
visited mates at the moment. Looked at heading up the coast for the
game but timing is not good for me for Saturday. I'm enlisting all
the Kiwis here and we're gonna watch it on a big screen at the
local. Should be a bloody good night out.
