No it's not, dammit. It is unlikely that Wellington will
be third at the end of the round however it is equally unlikely
that Wellington will be out of the running for the finals this
year. The entire season is ahead and every away win is
to be enjoyed to the fullest. Wellington is now in the mix,
don't spend too long savouring today, for there is next week to
consider. It is time to look forward.

I think it's a real pity to think that we are only third. If only
we had been able to snatch a win on our first ever game (which
would have been much deserved, in my opinion), we would be up
there..but hey what can you do, this is football. Now, let's hope
the players enjoy their great achievement and don't get overly
excited and keep up the good work.

It is unlikely that Wellington will be third at the end of the
round.
It's also impossible. Unless both Perth and Queensland can
lose when they play each other.
However, with the Jets beating Adelaide we stay 3rd
temporarily. If Central Coast can beat Melbourne, we stay 3rd for
an extra 2 hours. After the Perth/Queensland match, one of those
will go above us.
If all goes well for the Mariners, we will end the round in a
playoff spot... come on the Central Coast do it for us.
