He also said he mocked and abused and chanted at people wearing clothes that only vaguely relate to the opposition e.g holden jacket (it was freezing).

People wearing Holden jackets deserve it, and more.

Its a MASSIVE issue. We must abuse anyone not wearing yellow, and eventually they will conform...or stop coming to games.

I actually saw a guy in red socks walking the concourse all proud, head held high. I sorted him out let me tell you.

Totally agree. It's a disgrace. I think, in addition to checking for adults using kid's tickets, Red Badge staff (which is another disgrace, they should be renamed Yellow and Black Badge) should beissued with shade charts and check thatanyone enteringthe stadium isnot wearing anything which resembles the colours of our opposition.

Who do these bastards think they are? f**king red socks.....

I will put my hand up to lead the Yellow & Black Badge squad that will check what colour underwear fans are wearing. Ricki's Chickies - I'm thinking you lot need special attention.

What annoys me the most, although it doesn't really annoy me, it just does the most is people wearing other clubs shirts(ex. Liverpool, Celtic, Man U, Chelsea)and that banner down the fever end that says 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.. WERE NOT LIVERPOOL or CELTIC!!

While I find it stupid and wouldn't do that..some people probably don't support the nix so much and really just come along for the football, hence the football shirts.

Others may not come all the time and it's the only football shirt they own.

Others may just wear it without thinking they may be offending some die hard yellow fever supporter. It's just a shirt.

But yeah I do find it odd. Just offering it from the possible other perspectives

Or Feyenoord, FC Twente, Club Brugge, Borussia Dortmund, Kaiserslautern, St. Pauli....

Three for me, and two for them.

I will ALMOST feel sorry for the nix supporter who turns up with a kid's ticket, wearing Watford gear when GCU are in town.

So? Abusing people (or at least chanting at them) for wearing clothes that just happen to have one or 2 colours from the opposition team is bullsh*t. Go support the Fury, theyre into that "dont wear those colours on our turf" kind of crap.

Tegal, I thought Furries fans wore red Chamipionship-bound Liverpool shirts? Or have things changed since God decided west is best?

Where did I say I abused them?

I accept that I said I mocked them, but you invented me abusing them. All I said was that I chanted "You don't know what you're wearing...". That's mocking. I accept that.

If I had said I had chanted "You don't know what you're wearing you ignorant prats", (or something else along those lines) then yes, I'd accept I had said I abused them.

But I didn't abuse them.

I'm not in favour of absuing people and I never said I was. I am in favour mocking people who wear the opposition colours to game. I don't like it at all.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

I find this thread ironic in light of the fact that the Fever are giving away tickets to the Kiwis v England league test at the weekend to people who rock up in White Noise gear. What colour do England play in....

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

ffs it's not bullsh*t. Of course everyone can and should wear what they want to a game, but rocking up in the colours of the opposition is...well...dumb. I get that people are deliberately avoiding the point so they can crack stupid gags (I'm all about stupid gags), but the point still stands - when you're standing in front of your wardrobe  deciding what to wear to the footy, howsabout steering away from colours associated with that night's enemy. (TBH, I have no idea how you feel about opposition teams, but here in Tardistan, we have a couple that we hate with a passion, and maybe that's the difference.)

He's talking about a guy wearing a red Holden jacket on a freezing night. It's probably the guys only or warmest jacket.

Only a complete dickhead would take it upon himself to chant at and mock someone wearing something that vaguely resembles the oppositions colour.

Jawohl mein gnaedige Tard!

It was cold - people wear coats. Not everyone has black and yellow coats.

Sometimes the coats may be the same colour as the opposition.

Get. Over. It.

Sorry but wearing a red and white hat to support a team playing AGAINST a team in red and white stripes is just stupid IMO.
