Tonight's match was my first live football event, unless you count
playing back in high school....well I'm now officially addicted!
LOVED IT! Took a chance on buying a season pass, only justifying it
by saying I'm a "general sports fan" (with an egg chasing
background), but now see it as the best investment I made all year.
Only regret is that the Johnsonville line was out of action for
part of the day leaving me too late to get to the Backbencher in
time to meet anyone! I moved from platinum covered seating to the
YF Zone at half time and wished I was there from the start. I think
I'm gonna enjoy this...

as far as I'm concerned there's no other game in this solar system
that can do what football does
and having a loud crowd is part of the experience!
tell all your mates!
2007 - a year to tell our grandkids about (no rush for
those guys to arrive though)
football's coming home to kiwiland - YES!

5,500 is bloody good for preseason. I reckon you could be looking
at 12,000 + for the first game.

i was the same, i was sittinbg at half way and getting funny looks
for my outbursts. moved to the zone at half time and a great time.
Good friendly people with passion supporting phoenix.
I will be buying my season pass on monday as I think this is

Yellow fever kicked off big time last night, another good turn out
for the boys in yellow, and chanting all our new songs out was
amazing. I think all meeting at the backbencher for each game is a
great idea, if last night was anything to go by, then we will have
one hell of a season.
WE LOVE OUR PHOENIX, WE DO, WE LOVE OUR PHOENIX WE DO!!!!!

My first time watching the Phoenix too. I've been plugging them on
the show but can't do more because of exclusive marketing. Maybe I
can interview one of the fever after each and before each game. I
was impressed with no.3 last night - someone buy him a beer, good
teamwork. I'm going to see all the games from now on. Sucked in
Auckland haha

he was a
crackup..various peeps tried to copy his hand clap noise he was

only one in that area on vocals. Boro4eva2007-08-15 08:15:39

Well I won't be at a game until Phoenix vs the scum in Melbourne
but I'm 110% on-board and pumped to buggery about this season.
Can't wait to get my hands on a kit with SMELTZ on the back.
Dear Phoenix,
I renounce all others (except Wimbledon, not even my own mother is more important) and pledge myself to you for life.
Love,
Some Idiot.
